We approach it and try to handle
it like a job. We complain about it. We blame others when it is not working. We
hold someone else responsible when it does not give us what we want. Some of us
give up on life. We move from day to day, with no plan, no goals and ultimately
no rewards. We fail to understand that if life is work, the better we do it,
the better it will pay us.

A Few Ways to deal with difficult coworker
ü Start out by examining yourself. Make sure the object of your attention is a difficult person’s actions.
ü Explore what you are experiencing with a trusted friend or colleague.
ü Ask the person for a private discussion. Be pleasant and agreeable as you talk with the other person.
ü Follow up after the initial discussion. Become a peacemaker.
ü You can confront your difficult coworker’s behavior publicly. If you are funny, you can use the humor well with difficult coworkers.

Who AM I – Practice Makes Perfect
I am your constant
companion. I am your greatest helper or heaviest burden. I will push you onward
or drag you down to failure. I am completely at your command. Half the things you do you might just as well turn
over to me, and I will be able to do them quickly, correctly. I am easily
managed-you might merely be firm with me. Show me exactly how you want
something done, and after a few lessons I will do it automatically. I am the
servant of all great people; and alas, of all failures as well. Those who are
failures, I have made failures. I am not a machine, though I work with all the
precisions of a machine plus the intelligence of a human being. You may run me
for profit or turn me for ruin-it makes no difference to me. Take me, train me,
be firm with me, and I will place the world at your feet. Be easy with me and I
will destroy you.

A Short Story - Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody
This
story is about four people, Everybody,
Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.
There
was an important job to be done and Everybody
was asked to do it. Everybody was sure that
some body would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did. Somebody
got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s
job. Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, and Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up
that Everybody blamed Somebody, when actually, Nobody blamed Anybody. The job, of course,
went undone.Irwin M. Kirby
