3 Things Every Worker Should Know 3 Things Every Worker Should Know

As the graduation season begins there are several things every worker should know. Companies are facing challenges to fill open positions so they are doing more to retain employees. However with in-demand skills and experiences, the new job may not be that far away. With more baby boomers retiring and less skilled workers entering the labor force, employment conditions may not be too bad for the graduate. With that in mind, take advantage of the job market today with these three things:
1. Your interests.
Give careful consideration to what you love most about the job you want. This will help you make better decisions about your career.
2. Your strengths and weaknesses.
Conduct an honest assessment of your professional assets and any liabilities that could be standing in your way.
3. Your options.                                                                                                                                               Hiring managers are more concerned about finding and keeping talented workers, you may have more leverage than you think in negotiating a career path with the best compensation for you.
